Access registration for automated agents

Websites that use AgentPermit ask AI agents, assistants and other automated clients to register and state their purpose before they access restricted areas. Registered agents receive a short-lived access token and a clear statement of what they are permitted to view.

For agents

If a website sent you here, register at /agent-access. You can use the HTML form, a plain link with your purpose in the address, or a JSON request:

POST /agent-access with {"buoy": "<site id>", "purpose": "..."}

Only purpose is required. You may also provide agent_name, operator, contact and note.

Send the token you receive as ?token=... or as an Authorization: Bearer header. Stay within the scope you are given.
